The lake Bourget

Born From the Tears of an Angel

Legend has it that the Savoyard region was entrusted to three angels who provided protection. From the sky they watched mountains, valleys, streams, rivers, woods and forests. When asked to leave the Northern Alps for a new mission, all three shed a tear, creating the three lakes of Savoie : Lake Bourget, Lake Annecy and Lake Geneva.
